The Sous Chef for Pimms Restaurant, Cap Juluca, A Belmond Hotel, Anguilla, will be responsible for the daily management and food production of the Pimms Kitchen, ensuring maximum quality and profitability while working closely with the Chef de Cuisine to plan the production and development of seasonal and signature offerings. Assist with the training of staff for them to direct their efforts toward exceptional and complete guest satisfaction, employee productivity, compliance to brand standards, and hotel profitability including a concentrated focus on Forbes Travel Guide Service and Leading Quality Assurance Standards. Must have the ability to exceed Leading Quality Assurance (LQA) standards (+90 Points) and Forbes Travel Guide Five Star standards by ensuring quality, attention to detail, and driving of Belmond brand standards throughout the operation. The coming year will have tremendous focus placed on Forbes, LQA, and Belmond brand standards and maintaining our newly acquired Forbes Five Star rating is essential.

Requirements


  • Minimum of 4 years of experience as a Sous Chef for a premier luxury hotel or resort with a high volume food production.
  • High school diploma or 3 years’ experience in the culinary, food and beverage, or related professional area or a 2- year degree from an accredited university in Culinary Arts, Hotel and Restaurant Management, or related major.
  • Detail oriented yet able to excel while multi-tasking.
  • Excellent communication skills.
