This role functions as the tactical business leader of Belmond Cap Juluca’s front-of-house bar operation off all food amp; beverage outlets. This position will also be responsible for leading, coaching, and training associates in order to promote and grow the business according to resort specifications. Responsible for the management of all aspects and functions of bars: Cip’s amp; Pimm’s, Uchu, Pool, Beach and Cap Shack. This position will develop and implement property-wide strategies that deliver products and services to meet or exceed the needs and expectations of the brand’s target customer and property employees and provides a return on investment.
Requirements
Must have the expertise and ability to exceed Leading Quality Assurance (LQA) standards (+90 Points) and Forbes Travel Guide Five Star standards by ensuring quality, attention to detail, and driving of Belmond brand standards throughout the operation. The coming season will continue to have tremendous focus placed on Forbes, LQA, and Belmond brand standards; a candidate with a proven track record of leading a team (combined with their subject matter expertise) through the process of acquiring and maintaining a Forbes Five Star rating is highly desired, together with extensive knowledge of the operational aspects of resort bar operations.
- A minimum of a high school diploma, studies in Hotel and Restaurant Management, Hospitality, Business Administration beyond high school are highly desired.
- A minimum of five years’ experience in a leadership role with direct responsibility for the bar operations of a luxury resort. Alternatively, experience in restaurant management, event management, cruise ship, or related professional area (with a proven track record of outstanding results in an equivalent position) can be considered.
- A minimum experience of three years working in the luxury hospitality sector.
