Job Description
Provide leadership, support, direction and supervision of staff in the daily operations of Spa and Recreation, including, but not limited to, retail, membership, salon, fitness programs, pool amp; tennis. Total financial management duties, budgeting, forecasting, payroll and scheduling as well as product inventory and ordering. Ability to exceed Leading Quality Assurance Standards (+90 points) and Forbes 5-star Travel Guide rating. - Possess a keen understanding and proven track record in spa design, construction, and marketing.
- Oversee the daily operations of the Health Club amp; Spa.
- Maintain and oversee financial planning, budgets and payroll.
- Be thoroughly familiar with all Health Club/Spa services and products.
- Oversee Spa reservations to maximize daily revenues in accordance with the budgetary guidelines.
- Inventory professional products to capture full revenue potentials.
- Maintain spotless cleanliness of all areas.
- Maintain safe working conditions and practices.
- Ensure service to all guest follows established standards, is consistent, efficient and courteous.
Requirements
Education amp; Experience
- Must have a proven track record of outstanding results performing in an equivalent position, in a 5-star luxury brand recognized by Forbes Travel Guide Five-star category and Leading Quality Standards (90 + points) or recognized by Belmond as an extraordinary professional. This role will have a heavy focus on the design and construction of our new spa, and as such, relevant expertise is highly desirable.
- College or vocational degree required, preferably in hotel/business management, sales, or marketing.
- Minimum five years’ experience in Spa leadership position in a luxury hotel or spa, with minimum three years of progressive management.
- Massage or skincare license/certification preferred.
