Responsibilities
  • Create and execute innovative and visually stunning desserts and pastries that reflect the brand's commitment to luxury and authenticity.
  • Ensure that all pastries and desserts are prepared to the highest quality standards, meeting both taste and presentation expectations.
  • Collaborate closely with the culinary team to develop seasonal menus, incorporating creative and unique pastry options.
  • Manage inventory and order supplies, ensuring adequate levels of ingredients and minimizing waste.
  • Oversee the day-to-day operations of the pastry kitchen, maintaining cleanliness and organization.
  • Train and mentor junior pastry chefs, providing guidance and support in the execution of their tasks.
  • Adhere to all food safety and sanitation regulations, maintaining a safe and clean working environment.
  • Continuously stay updated with industry trends and emerging techniques to enhance the culinary offerings.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Pastry Chef or similar role in a luxury hotel, restaurant, or pastry shop.
  • In-depth knowledge of pastry and dessert preparation techniques, including baking, molding, decorating, and plating.
  • Strong creative abilities to develop enticing and visually appealing pastry products.
  • Exceptional attention to detail, ensuring precision in measuring and weighing ingredients.
  • Outstanding organizational and time-management skills to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team and communicate effectively with colleagues and guests.
  • Knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards.
  • Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays.
